Service Wizard installed 3 new HVAC systems in my home a little over a year ago. They did a fabulous job!!! Everyone was exceptionally courteous and helpful. They were eager to please and made sure everything was hooked up the way I wanted them to be connected. The new systems make our home much more comfortable than the old systems did. In addition, our summer electric bill dropped 20% over our old 12 seer systems (the new systems are 16 seer 2 speeds). In addition, their prices were less than the competition.

In September, I was experiencing a loss of cooling in my house the morning of the PTA teachers luncheon for the middle school. John sent a team member over immediately to help us get the A/C back on line before 40 ladies showed up.
Since the system was running, they were only able to provide limited diagnoses of a leak, probably in the cooling coils in the attic, and then topped off the system to get it cooling again. John informed me I had 5 months left on the warranty of the coils, and that he should come back after I could leave the system fan off for 4 hours to allow the leak location to be firmly detected. I had John return and after diagnoses, they determined that two flow valves on the system were loose, allowing the refrigerant to slowly leak, and the coils of the system were fine.
This saved me hundreds of dollars and I really appreciate the integrity and professional abilities of John and his team. I give my highest professional recommendation to John Osgood and company.

After one too many stuffy nights without a properly working AC, I gave in and checked out a co-worker's recommendation for Service Wizard. I left a brief message and within 10 minutes had a call back from Jeremy. He listened to the problem and said he could be at the house in 15 minutes.
Upon arrival, Jeremy scoped out the AC unit, inside the house and out, and walked me through the problems he observed. He provided a list of options for services that would help our AC unit function better. He outlined all of the costs ahead of time and was straight-forward on what would need to be done versus what services he recommended be added. I never felt pushed into paying for a service that I didn't think would be beneficial. He answered all of my questions throughout the repair and even gave me a few helpful tips that my husband and I could do to try to pro-long the life of our unit.
I signed up for their PSA (Preventative Service Agreement), which means a tech from Service Wizard will return to our home in the fall to ensure our unit is working properly before winter begins. It's a relief to have found an AC company that I can trust.

Our AC stopped working and we first called another company to come out and look at it. It was still blowing air but only hot air so we were surprised when the technician told us it was going to be at least $1,700 if not $4,000 to fix it and the problem wouldn't be completely resolved unless we got an entirely new unit. We decided to get a second opinion and a friend recommended we call the Osgood's because he has been using them for as long as he can remember.
My husband called and Shane was out our house within a few hours. He thoroughly checked the entire unit and read the comments left by the previous company. Within a few minutes, he diagnosed the actual problem and told me it was a very easy fix (and a lot cheaper than $1,700!).
I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company and their honesty. Shane was incredibly knowledgeable and did a high quality job without trying to take advantage of us. He was courteous and quick and I can't thank him enough.
I highly recommend Service Wizard to anyone looking for an honest and reputable company!!

My landlord called these guys to come check out my a/c the day after I reported it acting up. They showed up in just a couple hours and had the problems diagnosed in about half an hour. The entire system was shot. They spoke to my landlord before they even left the house so they didn't move on to another job until they new exactly how the owner (the landlord) wanted to handle the issue. The decision was made to replace the entire HVAC System. Within an hour after the landlord made the decision the Service Wizards called me to set up the installation appointment for the next morning. They arrived at about 10:00 a.m. And worked quickly, efficiently, quietly, and with little to no disturbances to me or my family's normal routine.
In fact, they were so clean that the only way you could tell they were here was by the new thermostat on the wall and the shiny new unit on the slab outside where the old one was. All the representatives from Service Wizards were extremely polite and did a great job.
We will definitely keep them in our list of preferred contractors when we buy our own home.

Cold inside and out today. I called a few companies early on Saturday evening to ask about furnace service to get the heat on. I got no response from other companies. Shane at Service Wizard called me back within 20 minutes. He helped me get heat on in no time at all. Bravo for good customer service.

I've used the Osgood Service Wizard team for about 7 years. They have replaced 2 HVAC systems in different homes-at very reasonable prices. They have also done our HVAC check-ups and maintenance for several units (rental property too). They are always professional, quick and clean. I trust their advice, and have even gotten second opinions that told me Service Wizard gave us the right recommendation and a great price.

I called the Osgood's Saturday evening and left my contact info. John called me back and told me he would pencil me in first thing Monday morning. I called in early Monday to confirm, and Charles let me know he had a tech coming out shortly. Their tech Terry called me a few minutes out and diagnosed the issue as low Puron. He recharged the system and I only paid for the visit and the recharge. Service Wizard's are great professionals. I definitely recommend them for your HVAC issues.

I highly recommend this company for any sort of A/C or heating repair in the Austin area! Every interaction I've had over the past several years has been professional, high quality, and very satisfactory - hard to find in today's world of service providers. Charles Osgood, the owner, is honest and responsive and follows through on his commitments. His technical team is knowledgeable, does a high quality job, and is very courteous. Service Wizard replaced both my A/C units (original equipment - low quality builder grade) with brand new Trane high efficiency units and they've worked great. I've also had them repair my furnace equipment. They even provided me with the paperwork and explained the process to obtain tax credits on the new equipment. This is a professional and honest organization and I'm very impressed with the quality of the work.

They were recommended to us by my wife's colleague. We called them in for a second opinion as the first guys we called (ABA Appliance) gave us a quote of nearly 2k to fix the problem saying that we had a major leak in our system. One of the Osgoods (don't remember which) came over the next morning (right on time), spent quite a bit of time and detected the issue as a capacitor problem. He replaced it, serviced both the units and added some freezing agent. All in all it was $234 and our AC is cooling great. Our AC is 14 years old, so no guarantee that it is a long term fix, but we were really happy with the service. Highly recommend them.

We called the Service Wizard on a Friday evening in need of urgent service. Technician was here on Saturday morning, took less than an hour to fix the problem, and was reasonably priced. He was quick and courteous, and also offered insightful solutions that I could do myself for problems in the future. I highly recommend these guys.
